As we move towards the end of the year, we look back on 2021 with rather mixed feelings.
As a business, we’ve continued to grow, but there is no doubting what a tough year it has been for many of us, both personally and professionally. We have a superb team here at RfM Accountants and we could not have performed so well and so consistently throughout the year without all their hard work and wonderful commitment to our clients.
Supporting clients to access the right funding at the right time
In October, we announced a major new programme, RfM Funding Solutions. Our business has always been about providing more value, more information and more support to our clients. With RfM Funding Solutions, we have created a free benchmarking service to determine whether a business’ current debt funding is the right one, and then we offer to find the very best debt funding available to help your business grow.
“We have always been able to advise our clients on funding and finance, should they need it, and built up strong relationships with many different lenders over the years. However, the impact of COVID over the last 18 months means the banks are not as ‘open for business’ as they were in the past,” explains RfM Partner Paul Newsham.
“Banks take into account things like past financial performance, recent history, and ability to pay. On paper at least, many businesses lack the credit-worthiness that the high street lenders want. We know that the recent figures don’t necessarily give a true picture of a business’ position and wanted to make it easier for clients to access the right type of funding when they need it.
“RfM Funding Solutions will provide access to unrivalled experience in business finance and confidence that we can secure the most comprehensive and appropriate funding for you. This is backed up by our strategic business expertise; so we can also advise on everything from how to structure the transaction, business valuation and even finding buyers for a business.”
Xero Platinum Partner Status
In December, we were thrilled to announce that we become a Xero Platinum Partner. This is a superb landmark for our business. We’ve worked with Xero for many years as a key Gold Partner offering the very best advice to our clients about how Xero can help them ensure that they stay on top of the numbers and have a clear grasp of the P&L. Now, as we advance to being a Xero Platinum Partner, we’ll be working even more closely with Xero to ensure that any business that works with us is getting absolutely cutting-edge advice.
“We have established a strong working relationship with Xero over many years and are thrilled that we’ve now become a Xero Platinum Partner,” says Gillian Telford. “Xero offers a superb platform which allows businesses to understand their accounts and stay on top of their cashflow.
“Being a Platinum Partner means, with our support and guidance, we can ensure our clients get all first-class business support and advice, and get the most out of Xero.”
2021 has been challenging, there’s no doubt about that. But we are looking forward to 2022 with confidence and optimism.
